The RIGGER ENGINEERING pack-off bushing or packing gland is made of drillable aluminum with internal chevron type seals. This allows a slick joint stinger to pass through the seal set while providing a secure seal on the outside diameter of the stinger. An optional one – way flapper valve, also drillable, can be provided to seal off the liner below the hanger assembly after the stinger is removed. A 6’ spacer or tie back receptacle must be included in order to space out the liner hanger from the pack-off bushing to allow for kelly stroke. For more information see slick joint stinger.
