The RIGGER ENGINEERING packer cup mandrel is an accessory used for completing the job with a cemented liner. It is attached to the setting tool assembly below the tubing swivel. It may be necessary to run a pup joint between the two in order to keep the packer cups inside the liner when the tools are positioned above the liner hanger during cementing. The tool consists of two rubber packer cups facing down hole. Its purpose is to keep the cement from moving back up through the liner into the liner hanger assembly.
